Wolfram Industrie expands production capacities

The new headquarters of Gesellschaft für Wolfram Industrie mbH in Nussdorf near Traunstein is due to be completed in spring 2023. After a search for a suitable site lasting several years, construction work on the new headquarters of Gesellschaft für Wolfram Industrie mbH begins in Nußdorf (Germany) in autumn 2020. The new building is planned with a usable floor area of 7,000 m², offering around 40 percent more space than the current headquarters in Traunstein (Germany).

Optimizing welding results through the correct selection of high-quality tungsten electrodes

Adapting all parameters to the respective TIG application enables up to six times longer service life and thus resource savings of more than 350% compared with the use of non-specific no-name electrodes.

Orbital welding based on efficient electrode selection and preparation

Quality pays off: no one would fit a Formula 1 racing car with inexpensive all-season tires, for example. To achieve a competitive speed, the car needs to hold the track optimally and be perfectly tuned to the respective track conditions.

Micro welding

PUK-Star electrode – Lambert Werktechnik and Gesellschaft für Wolfram Industrie In industrial manufacturing, for example in measurement and sensor technology but also in prototype construction in the automotive industry, extremely thin and heat-sensitive areas often have to be welded. The quality of the electrode plays a central role in producing a flawless weld seam. The PUK-Star electrode developed by the two companies consists of a tungsten alloy adapted for industrial manufacturing and is comparable to a pin with a diameter of 0.6 to 1.0 mm.
