To continue meeting this quality standard, we are looking, as part of a planned succession, for a Warehouse and Shipping Specialist (f/m/d) in full-time at our location in Dachau for a permanent position.
Your Responsibilities
Goods Receipt and Storage: You receive metal products and raw materials professionally, inspect them and ensure proper storage. At the same time, you make sure that order, cleanliness and safety in the warehouse area are guaranteed at all times.
Picking and Shipping Preparation: You assemble ready-to-ship consignments, pack them carefully and prepare all necessary shipping documents, delivery notes and labels. You check production orders for completeness before they leave the premises.
Shipping and Export Support: You notify freight forwarders and parcel services, also online, coordinate the cooperation with external logistics partners and calculate freight costs. When needed, you provide cover support for export activities, including customs documents, export papers and international shipping handling.
Warehouse Management and Inventory: You maintain and manage the warehouse management system, carry out regular stock checks and inventories, and handle in-house transport using industrial trucks (forklift/pallet truck).
Your Expertise
To ensure that our deliveries reach our customers reliably and on time, we rely on your diligence, your logistics expertise and your independent way of working. We look forward to your skills in the following areas:
A completed apprenticeship, e.g. as a Specialist for Warehouse Logistics, or comparable professional experience in the warehouse/shipping area.
Confident handling of warehouse management software and common IT tools (MS Office).
A valid forklift license (industrial truck license) is an advantage – as is a dangerous goods training PK1/PK2 (IATA) or an aviation security training (LBA).
Physical resilience and enjoyment of hands-on work.
Reliability, diligence and team spirit as well as basic German skills in spoken and written form.
An independent and solution-oriented way of working as well as the willingness to undergo a security check – due to our status as a “Known Consignor”, the submission of a police clearance certificate is also required.
