To continue meeting this standard in specialised sectors such as aerospace, automotive and manufacturing industries, we are looking for a Sales Engineer (m/f/d) in international technical sales. This is a permanent full-time position based across multiple locations, starting as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities

Cold Calling and Networking: Actively pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and strategic acquisition initiatives.

New Customer Acquisition: Build new client relationships in the field, identify potential customers, and proactively approach them to showcase our portfolio of technical solutions.

Customer Retention: Manage existing client accounts by conducting regular sales visits and consultations to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Relationship Management: Establish targeted relationships with key decision-makers in the target industries to foster long-term partnerships and ensure repeat business.

International Focus: Serve not only German but also global customers, regularly travelling abroad to visit international clients and open up new markets.

Technical Consulting: Understand the technical requirements of our clients and work with them to develop detailed, customised solutions.

Quotation Preparation and Follow-up: Prepare sales quotes, present them in close collaboration with our technical team, and manage the quotation process from follow-up to completion.

Market and Competitor Analysis: Analyse market trends and competitors to identify growth opportunities and respond strategically.

Wolfram Industrie Sales Engineer

Your Expertise

To ensure customer satisfaction through your practical solutions, we are looking for someone with a combination of sales skills, technical expertise, and a customer-focused approach. You should bring the following to the role:

A degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical qualification.

Additional qualifications in metallurgy, materials science, or plasma spraying/thermal spraying would be an advantage.

Several years of sales experience
in technical or industrial markets.

Proven experience in new customer acquisition
and building and maintaining long-term customer relationships, including cold calling.
Skills in developing and presenting technical solutions as well as creating commercial proposals.

Willingness to travel regularly within Germany and Europe for customer visits and fieldwork.

Ability to seamlessly combine technical and commercial topics and present them with enthusiasm in direct customer interactions.
Interest in continuous professional development and learning our product portfolio.

Fluent German and English
, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are advantageous.

Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office and CRM systems.
