The quality of our electrodes is the result of precise material processing
Wolfram Industrie specialises in the development and manufacture of tungsten-based products. Our international customers require fast and effective solutions for complex challenges. They particularly value our commitment to precise material processing that meets tight tolerances and guarantees the quality of our electrodes.
To continue meeting these exacting precision standards in material processing, we are looking to recruit a full-time Metal Specialist (m/f/d) for electrode production and material testing. The position is permanent and available immediately at our site in Nußdorf.
Materials management: Reading and processing production orders independently, you ensure that the required materials are available at the right time. In addition, you manage the proper storage, return and control of residual materials. Material bookings are made using the computer in line with specified guidelines, with complete documentation of material movements and stock levels.
Machine operation: Setting up and operating various machines such as hand cutters, automatic cutters, vibratory finishing machines (trovalisers), and testing devices is part of your daily work, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
Material testing: Carrying out material tests and using testing and measuring equipment correctly ensures quality standards are met. You also document material bookings accurately and ensure that all data complies with the relevant specifications.
Quality awareness: With great attention to detail, you check processing steps, detect errors early, and record error messages to support continuous process improvement. Adherence to defined quality standards and precise implementation of tolerances are key to achieving first-class production results.
Maintenance tasks: Keeping machines and workstations clean by performing regular cleaning tasks helps maintain the overall quality of the production process.
To ensure that our manufacturing processes run efficiently and that production orders are carried out with precision, we rely on your technical understanding, manual skills, and willingness to contribute flexibly across various areas of electrode production. We particularly value your strengths in the following areas:
You have completed an apprenticeship in a metalworking or comparable profession and possess sound knowledge of production and materials technology, along with proficiency in using measuring and testing equipment.
Basic manual and mathematical skills, logical thinking, and a structured approach to work are just as important as a good command of written and spoken German at a minimum level of B1/B2.
In addition, you are willing to work in shifts and to take on flexibly scheduled stand-in duties on various machines within the cutting department.
Job security: With over 120 years of company history and market leadership on the international stage, Wolfram Industrie offers you long-term prospects in the metalworking industrie.
Professional development: Following your onboarding, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills. If desired, you can further specialise in cylindrical grinding and hammering through targeted training and continuing education.
Supportive team culture: A well-established team with flat hierarchies ensures a positiv working environment, where experienced colleagues are there to support you.
Structured processes: In your stand-in role, you will actively contribute to two specialised departments and help shape processes with flexibility. Within each area, you will work with clearly defined procedures on modern production systems.
Attractive benefits: We offer comprehensive benefits package, including health and mobility allowances, EGYM-Wellpass, JobRad, private supplementary health insurance as well as childcare and pension contributions.
