To continue meeting these process requirements and to maintain our market leadership in the future, we are looking for a Metal Specialist (m/f/d) for cylindrical grinding and hammering to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our site in Nußdorf.
Your area of responsibility
Order processing: You will independently carry out production orders, executing all processing steps precisely in accordance with the specifications.
Machine operation: You will set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines, rotary swaging machines and synchronized systems to shape workpieces to the required form.
Process control: You will monitor parameters such as diameter and temperature, make necessary adjustments independently, and ensure compliance with the defined specifications.
Maintenance: You will change process tools independently and perform routine maintenance and minor repair tasks.
Quality control: You will use testing and measuring equipment to verify the dimensional accuracy of the tungsten rods.
Working environment: You will be working in a demanding environment where factors such as noise, dust and temperature may impact your tasks.
Your expertise
We rely on your technical understanding and your precise handling of materials to produce workpieces with exact dimensions and a consistently high surface quality. We are particularly looking for the following strengths:
Completed vocational training in a metalworking or comparable profession.
Practical experience in metalworking and a good instinct for materials.
A careful, independent approach to work with a strong focus on quality.
Team spirit and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
Confident command of written and spoken German (minimum level B1/B2).
Willingness to work in shifts and to take on scheduled stand-in duties across different machines in the hammering department.
