Your Responsibilities<\/strong><\/b><\/p>\n

Payroll Accounting:<\/strong> You will independently carry out monthly payroll processing and conscientiously maintain employee master data. You will handle all reporting and certification obligations with authorities, social security institutions, and tax offices, as well as manage employee onboarding and offboarding. As a reliable point of contact, you will assist employees with questions relating to payroll tax and social security law.<\/p>\n

Time Tracking:<\/strong> You will administer and maintain our company time tracking system, ensuring the accurate recording, monitoring, and evaluation of working hours, overtime, vacation, and absences. You will independently reconcile and transfer time tracking data into the payroll system. You will serve as the primary contact for employees and managers, ensure compliance with statutory working time requirements, and actively contribute to the further development of the system.<\/p>\n

Financial Accounting (Holiday Cover):<\/strong> When providing cover, you will code and post ongoing business transactions in the areas of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounts, and manage fixed assets including depreciation runs. You will process payments, monitor open items, clarify discrepancies, and prepare VAT returns and other statutory tax filings.<\/p>\n

Financial Statements:<\/strong> You will assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code), prepare for and accompany the annual audit process. In addition, you will independently prepare balance sheets in accordance with HGB.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n <\/article>\n <\/section>\n\n\n

A completed commercial training<\/strong>, e.g. as a tax assistant or bookkeeper; further qualification as a financial accountant<\/strong> is an advantage.<\/p>\n

Several years of professional experience in accounting<\/strong> with a solid knowledge of tax law, social security law, and employment law.<\/p>\n

Solid knowledge of HGB regulations<\/strong> and experience with common accounting software<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Good MS Office skills<\/strong>, particularly Excel.<\/p>\n

A careful, structured, and independent working style<\/strong> with a strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking.<\/p>\n
